September 2020: Muscat, Oman: Earlier this year, Mazda was honoured to have their Mazda 3 win the highly coveted 2020 “World Car Design of the Year” title at the World Car Awards (WCA). For Towell Auto Centre – the official authorized dealer for Mazda vehicles in the Sultanate of Oman – this was thrilling news.

Just as thrilling for TAC however, are the week-to-week purchases of Mazda vehicles in Oman, and the satisfaction each car brings to their new owner.

One of these was a brand new Mazda 3 Classic 1.5L, which Mr. Wail Nasser Al Mahrizi recently purchased from Towell Auto Centre’s Al Hail showroom in Muscat.

Speaking to the Towell Auto Centre team, Mr. Wail mentioned that he loves the new car, and that he appreciated the excellent buying experience he had with the TAC showroom staff.

With regards to the car itself – the Mazda 3 Classic 1.5L – Mr. Wail felt its features are more advanced than other brands in the same category.

Specifically, he spoke about the ample interior room as a big plus point; he also loved the Bose® 12-speaker premium audio system; and he remarked that the sporty but elegant exterior of the car added a striking visible element to its design, which he’ll be proud to show off to his family and friends.

Taking inspiration from Japanese design aesthetics, Mazda adopted a “less is more” approach when designing the Mazda 3 and stripped away superfluous elements from the car’s form. The result is a unique design that creates subtle undulations of light and shadows gliding over the car's smooth body, giving birth to a natural and powerful expression of vitality.

Mr. Wail also pointed out that in terms of value for money, the price is very reasonable.

“The all-new Mazda 3 perfectly balances sporty good looks around the exterior, executive styling around the interior, and a thrilling performance behind the wheel,” says Towell Auto Centre. “And as Mr. Wail suggested, the car also comes at a very alluring price point for potential owners.”

More state-of-the-art performance features on the Mazda 3 models include ground-breaking SKYACTIV-Vehicle dynamics with G-Vectoring Control – which work to adjust power delivery and optimally shift vehicle weight to achieve excellent performance on the road. In addition, Mazda’s i-ACTIVESENSE safety innovations give the driver a sixth sense for safety in all weather and road conditions.

Mr. Wail says that although the car was ultimately purchased for his sister to use, they’ll both be enjoying driving it during the next few months. As he’s very happy with the performance, he also plans to purchase another one in the near future.

As Mazda celebrates their 100^th Year Anniversary this year, the Japanese automobile giant is especially proud of any purchase of their current range of models in 2020.
